If you have a network marketing business, then your biggest assets are leads. Finding network marketing leads can be found offline or online. To make your business work you need people who will be looking your product or business to buy from you.  This is why you will hear the phrase, “People are the life blood of your business.”  When you have no one looking at your business on a daily basis, then you will be out of business very soon.

What is a Network Marketing Lead?

In network marketing, a lead refers to a person or an organization that is interested in your business, product, or service, one that has the potential of bringing in profit to your business. Finding a lead is the process that lies at the bottom of every business or franchise, and this is the same with network marketing, because it is a real business.

If you’re a network marketer, there are different ways to finding network marketing leads.

You can make a list of friends and family.

Lukewarm marketing in grocery stores, malls, Wal-Mart, etc

Dial cold-marketing leads

Host Home Parties

The above mentioned forms of finding network marketing leads will take learning a new skill, and getting over your fear of talking to strangers.  Your goal is to make sure that you are a professional marketer offline, and to have a duplicable system that your new people can follow.

Here’s a more modern way to finding network marketing leads:

Do it online.

This is probably the most time efficient to build your business. You can use the power of technology to fill your virtual pipeline full of leads.  Then you can funnel those leads to a site that allows your prospects to learn more about you and for you to bring value to them.  From there, your prospects will either buy from you, join your business, or decide that what you have is not for them.

There are various forms to online marketing.  You have social media, pay-per-click, pay-per-view, pay-per-text, video marketing, banner advertising, list building, newsletter marketing, blogging, and tons of other techniques.

There are two up sides to marketing online.  You will gain the experience and education to become a professional marketer, which will bring you a very nice lifestyle.  You will also be able to use the latest in technology so that you will be able to leverage your time and get more exposure to your business than you ever could doing it offline.  Doing business online is a quick way and a duplicable way to help you and your new people to make money fast.

You can try any or a combination of the tips mentioned above. I would advise that you become proficient with prospecting and closing.  Because in the end, you are doing business with people.  This means that you can not hid behind a laptop, but you will have to eventually talk to people.  When done successfully, you’ll surely find network marketing leads that will help you grow your business.
